Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education in accordance with Life Care standards.

The role requires nursing licensure, a nursing diploma, and preferred teaching experience. CPR must be current, and skilled nursing experience is valued. The coordinator will lead staff training and ensure documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
• Active RN license in good standing in the applicable state.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
