Job summary

Signature HealthCARE LLC is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and education for nursing staff. You will develop in-service programs, assess competency, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes detailed training, staff guidance, and hands-on coaching to elevate care standards and maintain a resident-centered environment across the Monroe County Rehab & Wellness Center.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for the nursing department employees.
• Regularly check the competency of CNA skill performance, provide one-on-one instruction when necessary.
• Provide skill training to new staff in identified deficient areas before allowing tasks with residents.
