Job summary

Richmond Post Acute is seeking an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead staff education and quality improvement initiatives in our Richmond, VA facility. The role focuses on evaluating nursing care, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and training staff to enhance resident outcomes.

Strong communication and analytical skills are essential as you collaborate with the DON/ADON and supervise all staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Virginia.
• Experience as RN Staff Development/Educator or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff education and training between facility and community resources.
• Collaborate with DON/ADON on QA program data and evaluation.
• Analyze nursing care during probation to ensure compliance.
• Supervise, train, and orient all staff members.
• Develop educational programs to improve resident care and staff competency.
