Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indianapolis is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead education initiatives, monitor competency, perform clinical observations, and support quality assurance tools under the Director of Nursing Services.

This role also assists with onboarding and hiring, drives staff engagement, and champions CARE values to boost growth, retention, and excellence across our resident care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Indiana RN license or eligibility to obtain Indiana license.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct education, skills competencies, training and clinical observations as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
• Utilize quality assurance tools to monitor and improve care.
• Assist with onboarding and new employee hiring processes.
• Engage staff to champion recognition and retention programs.
• Serve as an advocate for growth and development within the company.
