Job summary

Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and education for the nursing team. The role focuses on resident-centered care and regulatory compliance, with on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required.

Ideal candidates will be an RN with 3+ years of clinical experience in health care, CPR certification, and knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver job skills training and in-service education per regulations and health monitoring for nursing staff.
• Regularly assess CNA competency and resident-focused care, providing 1:1 coaching when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before tasks are performed with residents.
