Job summary

Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead resident-focused training for the nursing team. You will design in-service education, monitor CNA competency, and provide immediate coaching as necessary to ensure high quality care.

The role requires active RN licensure, at least three years in a health care setting (long-term care preferred), and CPR certification. On-call rotation and limited weekend hours are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
• Regularly check competency of CNAs and provide one-on-one instruction when needed.
• Train new staff in deficient areas before performing tasks with residents.
