Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator at Colonial Rehab & Wellness Center to lead nursing staff training and ensure care standards are met across the facility.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with at least three years of clinical experience, CPR certification, and familiarity with long-term care regulations. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance care quality across our organization.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for the nursing department employees.
• Regularly check the competency of CNAs; provide 1:1 instruction as needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before allowing the nursing assistant to perform tasks with a resident.
