The role requires an RN license, 3+ years of clinical experience, CPR certification, and strong knowledge of long-term care standards. On-call rotation and weekend hours are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and regulations pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for the nursing department.
• Regularly check CNA competency and provide one-on-one instruction when needed.
• Train new staff in deficient areas before patient care tasks are performed.
