Signature HealthCARE in Erin, TN is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and education for nursing staff, with a focus on competency and regulatory compliance. You will develop in-service programs, conduct 1:1 coaching, and ensure new hires reach proficiency before working with residents.

RN licensure and at least 3 years of clinical experience are required; CPR certification is also required, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required and active.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff as required by regulations.
• Regularly check competency of CNA skill performance and provide one-on-one instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before working with residents.
