Signature HealthCARE, Erin facility is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator responsible for training nursing staff and ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations. You will develop in-service programs, assess CNA competencies, and provide one-on-one coaching to enhance resident care and staff performance within our resident-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and regulations pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing department staff.
• Regularly check competency of CNA skills and provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before allowing patient care.
