Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Erin, TN is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and education for nursing staff. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of resident care and regulatory compliance within a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has an active TN RN license, at least 3 years in a clinical setting (LTAC preferred), and CPR certification, with a passion for teaching and staff development.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current CPR certification and knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education per regulations and employee health monitoring for nursing staff.
• Regularly assess CNA competency, resident care standards, and identify developmental needs; provide 1:1 coaching as needed.
• Provide hands-on skill training to new staff in deficient areas before task performance with residents.
