Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Erin is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator dedicated to training nursing staff, ensuring compliance and resident safety. This role focuses on developing in-service education, monitoring competency, and delivering 1:1 coaching to CNAs and nursing assistants.

Qualified LPN/LVN with active CPR and at least 3 years in healthcare, preferably long-term care, is required. The position is full-time, on-site at our Erin facility with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license active in state.
• Minimum 3 years clinical healthcare experience; long-term care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement in-service education per regulations and health monitoring for nursing department staff.
• Regularly check CNA skill competency, resident care, and developmental needs; provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before they care for residents.
