Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC in Louisville, KY, seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and education for nursing staff in our long-term care facility. You will design in-service programs, monitor competency, and provide 1:1 coaching to CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.

Requirements include an active RN license, at least three years of clinical experience in healthcare (long-term care preferred), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for the nursing department employees.
• Regularly check the competency of CNA skills and provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in deficient areas before allowing tasks with residents.
