Arlington Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead in-service educational programs across departments, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local standards and maintaining the highest quality resident care.

You will develop, implement and evaluate training, coordinate new-hire orientations, monitor class attendance and records, and support staff performance through clear communication and effective presentation of

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed by the State of Alabama.
• Two years supervisory experience in staff training.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and elder care laws and guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Direct in-service educational programs in accordance with standards and directives.
• Develop, establish and maintain training objectives, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employee training, in-services and new-hire orientations.
• Assist staff understanding of duties and improve performance through training.
