Highfield Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Staff Development Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on education and leadership within the nursing home to promote excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state.
• RN nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience in a setting serving a similar resident population.
• At least one year of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for nursing home operations.
• Compassionate and results-driven professional committed to exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical staff.
• Develop and support nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Ensure policy and procedure compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plans and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.
• Develop and monitor documentation systems for accuracy and accessibility.
• Provide direct resident care when needed, ensuring quality interactions with residents and families.
• Create innovative processes to improve patient outcomes.
