Qualifications

Current, active RN license in North Carolina.
RN nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of three years nursing experience in a similar resident population, with at least one year in management.
Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical staff.
Support achievement of nursing department goals and educational programs.
Help implement and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plans.
Collaborate with department heads to enhance interdepartmental relations.
Develop and monitor documentation systems for accuracy.
Provide direct resident care as needed and engage with residents and families.
