Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead training and education for nursing staff in a 108-bed Roanoke Rapids facility. You will ensure competency, regulatory compliance, and ongoing staff development to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active RN license, 3+ years of clinical experience in healthcare (long-term care preferred), and CPR certification. You will contribute to patient safety and staff growth within a family-based organization.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting; long-term care preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
• Regularly assess CNA competencies and provide 1:1 instruction as needed.
• Provide training to new staff in deficient areas before patient care.
