Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Chapel Hill is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator who is meticulous and passionate about training staff to deliver the highest quality resident care. You will design and implement job skills training and in-service education for the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates are RNs with current state licensure and at least three years of clinical experience, ideally in long-term care, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
• Monitor employee health and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assess CNA skill performance and address developmental needs with targeted instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education as required by regulations.
• Regularly assess CNA competency and provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Support staff development to improve resident care and quality outcomes.
