Job summary

Apploi seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in Waldron, Indiana. The role requires compliance with federal, state, and local standards and coordination with the Director of Nursing.

You will ensure proper documentation, medication administration, and interdepartmental collaboration to maintain high-quality resident care on the unit. CPR certification and LTC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants.
• Complete and file charting and keep accurate records for admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain communication with other departments to ensure quality resident care.
• Provide IV care and perform nursing procedures as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
