Job summary

Apploi seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a nursing shift, supervise assistants, and ensure high-quality resident care. You will coordinate admissions, discharges, and physician orders, deliver medications, and uphold privacy and safety standards within the facility.

Strong nursing knowledge, CPR certification, and LTAC experience are preferred. Excellent communication and decision-making skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for care facilities.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Long term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions and plan shift services.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents and provide shift leadership.
• Complete and file admission/transfer/discharge records and physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
• Maintain rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure care needs are met.
• Provide IV care and perform basic nursing procedures as required.
• Monitor safety and confidentiality of resident information.
• Perform duties as assigned.
