Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in Bloomington, IN. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high-quality care.

You will direct shift activities, admit/discharge residents, administer medications, and coordinate with other departments to sustain a warm, safe care environment. CPR certification and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unencumbered state RN license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.
• CPR certification required; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; report on shift activities.
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders.
• Develop good inter-departmental rapport and maintain a warm, calm unit.
• Perform routine charting and maintain resident care documentation.
• Provide IV care, monitor safety, and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
