Job summary

Waldorf, MD is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor and Unit Manager, you will mentor staff, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards while using PCC to document care. Experience in geriatrics preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs in accordance with state acts.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.
• Mentor new staff and support onboarding.
• Maintain accurate real-time clinical documentation in PCC.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control.
