Castle Healthcare in Waldron, IN seeks an LPN/RN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, complete charting, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Strong leadership, LTC experience, and current RN/LPN license required; CPR certified.

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws/regulations for nursing facilities.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete and file required records for admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop a positive, calm unit atmosphere and supervise nursing staff on duty.
• Perform rounds with physicians as necessary and communicate care updates.
