Job summary

Eden Capital Careers seeks a Risk Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier long-term care facility in New York. The role leads clinical quality and risk mitigation, supervising incident investigations and DOH reporting.

The candidate will partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain high standards, ensure survey readiness, train staff, and implement corrective actions to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience submitting DOH accident/reportables.
• 3+ years RN in long-term care.
• Prior ADON or Risk Manager experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigation and reporting of all facility accidents and DOH reportables.
• Oversee nursing operations with DON and maintain clinical quality.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure DOH compliance and survey readiness.
• Educate staff on safety, risk reduction, and documentation.
