Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a proactive Risk Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier long-term care facility in New York. The role leads clinical quality and risk mitigation, including investigations, incident reporting, and DOH submissions.

You will partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, perform root-cause analyses, and ensure compliance with DOH regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have documented hands-on experience submitting DOH reporting.
• 3+ years RN experience in long-term care.
• Prior ADON/Quality Improvement Coordinator roles in LTC.
• Strong understanding of DOH reporting mandates and state surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigation and mandated reporting of all accidents and incidents to DOH.
• Partner with the DON to oversee daily nursing operations and maintain clinical quality.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local DOH regulations and survey readiness.
• Educate and train nursing staff on safety protocols and incident documentation.
