Essenti Talent seeks a Risk Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier long-term care facility in New York. The role leads clinical quality and risk mitigation, overseeing DOH reporting and partnering with the DON to uphold high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Must have hands-on experience submitting accident and incident reportables to the DOH.
• 3+ years RN experience in long-term care or sub-acute settings.
• Prior ADON/Risk Manager/QA roles in long-term care preferred.
• Deep understanding of DOH reporting mandates and surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigation, documentation, and mandatory reporting of accidents and incidents to the DOH.
• Partner with the DON to oversee daily nursing operations and maintain clinical quality.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local DOH regulations and lead survey readiness.
• Educate and train nursing staff on safety protocols and incident documentation.
