Job summary

HCP Talent is seeking a proactive Risk Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical quality and risk mitigation in a premier long-term care facility in New York. Direct experience investigating and reporting to the Department of Health (DOH) is strictly required.

You will conduct root-cause analyses, ensure compliance with DOH mandates, train staff on safety, and mentor a high-performing clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• Must have hands-on experience submitting accident and incident reportables to DOH.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigation, documentation, and mandatory reporting of all accidents and incident reportables to DOH.
• Oversee daily nursing operations with DON to maintain high clinical quality.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations and lead survey readiness.
• Educate and train staff on safety protocols and incident documentation.
