Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital is seeking a Risk, Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Coordinator for Organizational Performance. This full-time role leads risk management and safety programs, analyzes data, collaborates with physicians and leadership, and drives continuous quality improvement across the organization.

The coordinator oversees patient safety, risk assessments, root cause analyses, and regulatory compliance, while supporting peer review and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in healthcare patient safety and/or risk management in an acute care hospital or multi-specialty physician practice.
• Ability to research, compile, display and interpret data.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis, FMEA, high reliability and just culture.
• Proficiency with MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Risk Management Program with annual planning and goals.
• Manage event reporting processes, risk assessments, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with liability carrier and legal counsel to manage claims and reduce risk.
• Support patient grievance review processes per best practices.
• Assist with organizational reporting on patient safety, risk management, and quality outcomes.
• Lead and oversee the Patient Safety Program with annual planning and evaluation.
• Facilitate patient safety initiatives to promote a culture of safety and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analyses, FMEA, and investigations related to patient safety events.
• Coordinate patient safety reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Chair and support patient safety committees and follow-up actions.
