Job summary

Dartmouth Health seeks an experienced Quality Improvement and Safety RN to lead and promote clinical quality improvement and patient safety across the organization. You will identify QI opportunities, oversee event reporting, perform chart reviews, and collaborate with leaders to ensure high‑quality patient care.

You will work with the Quality Department and primary care teams to meet payer obligations, drive timely project completion, and implement evidence‑based initiatives using standard

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant work experience in clinical healthcare and quality.
• Registered Nurse (NH RN license); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Certification in modern improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, CPHP) preferred.
• Understanding of CAH and other regulatory healthcare standards preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality; strong interpersonal and cross‑functional skills.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable and rapidly changing work environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with staff and leadership to identify and implement clinical quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Oversees event reporting systems oversight and follow‑up to promote safety and quality.
• Performs chart reviews, reports findings, and analyzes data to identify performance gaps.
• Develops educational materials and programs with the Director of Quality and Patient Safety.
• Promotes a culture of patient safety and coordinates payer activities and projects.
