The Risk, Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Coordinator leads key initiatives that improve patient outcomes, enhance safety, reduce organizational risk, and support regulatory compliance. This influential role serves as a subject matter expert in patient safety, risk management, and medical staff quality, collaborating with physicians, clinical teams, and leadership to drive continuous improvement across the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing patient safety programs, conducting risk assessments and root cause analyses, managing quality data and event reporting, supporting peer review activities, and promoting best practices that strengthen the quality of care delivered to our patients.

Able to research, compile, display and interpret data
Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and to follow to closure over extended periods.
Strong written and oral communication
Familiarity with root cause analysis, FMEA, high reliability and just culture
Proficiency with MS Office
Two years’ experience in healthcare patient safety and/or risk management in an acute care hospital or multi-specialty physician practice
CPHRM or CPHQ preferred
