Job summary

The RN Resident program at Wellstar Health System in Greenfield, SC, welcomes new graduate RNs with less than 6 months of professional nursing experience. The 12‑month residency provides structured orientation, mentorship, and alignment with Wellstar standards to support a successful transition to professional practice.

You’ll participate in unit-based education, advance through specialty onboarding, and attend monthly NRP sessions while working the night shift.

Qualifications

• RN residents must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a RN.
• New graduates with less than 6 months of experience will be supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under supervision.
• Participate in the Nursing Process, evidence-based practice, and care coordination.
• Engage in orientation phases and monthly NRP sessions to develop skills.

Education

Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree BSN Preferred
