Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a New Graduate RN Resident for a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to ease transition into professional practice. The role is night shift, with a focus on evidence-based care, interprofessional collaboration, and patient safety.

RN Residents work under supervision of unit leaders, educators, and preceptors to build clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional growth within Wellstar's standards of care.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) per Georgia requirements.
• Completion of the 12-month RN Residency Program.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with standards.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in orientation, onboarding, and ongoing competency sessions.
• Support preceptors and educators in professional development.
• Contribute to performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
