Qualifications

• Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Nursing license (RN) required upon hire.
• BSN preferred for this residency program.

Responsibilities

• Exemplary Practice and Outcomes—Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; planning; implementation and evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provides patient and family centered care tailored to diverse populations.
• Coordinates safe, high-quality patient care through effective teamwork and documentation.
• Participates in performance improvement, research, and data collection to support better outcomes.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor to support current and future staff development.

Education

Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred
