Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital is launching the New Graduate RN Residency Program Fall 2027 cohort on-site in Great Falls, MT. The program supports new graduates through structured learning, simulations, and clinical rotations in medical-surgical, emergency, and clinic settings.

The residency emphasizes hands-on experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, guided by mentors and feedback to build confidence and professional growth over 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Montana RN license or license by start of cohort (compact state acceptable).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC, ENPC certifications to be completed within 1 year of hire.
• Hands-on clinical or nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Provide care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Support integration of new graduates into the system through orientation and mentorship.
• Participate in residency activities: orientation, online didactics, simulations, and clinical rotations.
• Build confidence and competence during orientation and training.
