Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PACU team at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to PACU patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years of RN experience (PACU/ICU/ER preferred). This is a full-time, day shift position with opportunities for professional growth within a large health system.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Associates degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• 2 years RN experience required; PACU/ICU/ER experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to PACU patients using the nursing process.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue ongoing development.
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
• Support safe, high-quality perioperative care for post-anesthesia patients.

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at South Florida Baptist Hospital .

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• Professional accountability and development.

• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.

• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
