Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PACU team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on independent patient care, nursing process application, delegation, and professional accountability.

Requirements include BLS, RN license, ACLS; an Associate degree is required and a BSN is preferred. Two years of RN experience, with pediatric PACU experience preferred, and a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

Position Description: RN - PACU - Same Day Surgery

RN Responsibilities Include

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
