Job summary

BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel in Florida is recruiting for a Pool/PRN Registered Nurse in the PACU to join a cohesive care team dedicated to safe, high-quality perioperative nursing. The RN will care for patients in recovery, monitor vitals, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and PACU staff.

Required qualifications include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and an associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred).

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Pool/PRNRegistered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel.

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

• 18months of RN experience in acute care/specialty is required.
• 1 year of RN experience in PACU is preferred
