Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an RN for Progressive Care Stroke patients at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The role focuses on step-down nursing care, coordinating with ICU and Med-Surg teams, and leading patient care plans to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include a current RN license and 1 year of RN experience; BLS is mandatory and ACLS is preferred, to be obtained within 6 months. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Current state licensure as an RN.
• ACLS is preferred at hire; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyze data, and develop plans of care.
• Serve as the point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
