Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on a Full Time Days schedule. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

The role supports a 24-bed PCU with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative nursing team. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, plan-of-care development, and coordination with care teams to ensure safe, evidence-based nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or multi-state license.
• BLS certification required.
• New Graduates eligible for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document findings.
• Evaluate patient development and educate patients/families.
• Organize data to form a plan of care and identify outcomes.
• Implement and monitor care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Provide patient care appropriate to condition and plan.
• Oversee activities of support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources.
• Communicate concerns to Charge Nurse/Manager/physician.
• Document care in patient records.
