Job summary

Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This full-time night role features a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a bridge-to-ICU/Med-Surg care environment with 24-bed PCU.

Join a collaborative team supported by tech‑driven patient care and a strong clinical manager. As an RN on the PCU, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, coordinating care with RNs, techs, and unit leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: one year of nursing experience in hospital setting; Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, and health history data.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care; organize data into a plan of care.
• Coordinate patient care activities and supervise staff as assigned.
• Provide patient care appropriate to diagnosis and condition; ensure quality outcomes.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patient education.
• Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
