• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure.
• Minimum five years of applicable clinical nursing experience or three years plus two years in educator roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Communicates with new employee before start date to introduce learning styles and orientation process.
• Assessment: Evaluates learning needs of staff at least annually.
• Identification of Educational Outcomes: Prepares competency-based orientation and educates staff on objectives.
• Planning: Develops schedules and coordinates preceptors and orientation duration.
• Implementation: Delivers and facilitates education, ensuring attendance and competency.
• Evaluation: Tracks progress and documents outcomes, providing feedback for improvement.
