SCA Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp/PACU role at our facility. The RN will assess patients preoperatively and postoperatively, monitor vital signs and anesthesia recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, effective perianesthesia care.

The position requires nursing licensure, at least one year in PreOp/PACU, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. The successful candidate will participate in a comprehensive, patient-centered care model that

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included in scope.

Responsabilités

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status according to policy.
• Interpret information from monitors and describe pathophysiology of disease processes.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Implement plan including recovery from anesthesia for various techniques.
• Provide hand-off reports and educate patients and families.
