SCA Health in the United States is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp PACU in Jacksonville, FL. The role emphasizes patient assessment across perioperative stages, accurate monitoring, and safe transfer planning.

You will support physicians, patients and teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Requirements include RN licensure, at least 1 year in PreOp or PACU, ACLS/BLS within 90 days, and pediatric ACLS/PALS if applicable.

Formación

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Medical / surgical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure to practice with good standing; BLS/BCLS within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies including cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological status.
• Interpret information from monitoring devices and describe underlying pathophysiology relevant to perioperative care.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care and implement it across recovery phases.
• Provide hand-off reports and educate patients/families regarding expected recovery and care.
