Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the Nurse Residency Unit as a part-time preceptor in Athens, GA. You will mentor new graduates at the bedside, demonstrating, teaching, and supporting them across the Med Surg Depts.

The role offers a sign-on bonus and a 7am–7pm schedule, with responsibilities centered on patient care, safety, and professional growth in a busy residency unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia required and BCLS Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
