Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced RN preceptor for the Nurse Residency Unit in Athens, GA. This part-time days role supports new grads at the bedside, teaching, demonstrating and guiding growth in clinical nursing.

The NRU spans seven Med Surg departments and is a cornerstone for developing nursing talent. Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required; a BSN is preferred, with Georgia RN licensure and BLS required. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license (state licensure or multistate) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using nursing processes.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff.
