Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking an experienced RN to join the Nurse Residency Unit as an experienced RN Preceptor. This part-time, day shift (7am–7pm) role supports new graduate nurses at the bedside, teaching, demonstrating, and guiding them through patient care.

The Nurse Residency Unit serves seven Med Surg departments and emphasizes growth, professional accountability, and standards of practice. A sign-on bonus is available and Georgia RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within organizational policies.
• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure quality nursing care.
