Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA, seeks an experienced RN Preceptor for the Nurse Residency Unit to guide new graduates at the bedside, teaching, demonstrating, and supporting their transition to practice.

This part-time Day shift (7am–7pm) role includes a sign-on bonus and participation in a unit dedicated to mentoring across seven med-surg departments, with emphasis on standards of care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Current GA RN licensure and BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support new grads at the bedside.
• Coordinate patient care and ensure standards of practice.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
