Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Preceptor for the Nurse Residency Unit in Athens, GA. The part-time position runs days from 7am to 7pm and offers a sign-on bonus.

The RN preceptor will teach and support new graduates at the bedside across seven Med Surg depts. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, coordinating activities, and ensuring adherence to standards of practice within Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Qualifications

• GA RN license required.
• Experience in hospital setting preferred; new grads eligible.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Teach, demonstrate and support new grads at the bedside.
• Provide nursing care and coordinate patient care activities.
• Uphold standards of practice and organization policies.
