Job summary

Mercy in Crestwood, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Procedure Phase II unit. You will assess patients, collect medical histories, coordinate with anesthesia, and provide direct nursing care for all ages in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Under the ASU Nurse Manager, you will plan and evaluate care, uphold Mercy Standards, and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered team. This 0.9 FTE role covers day-evening hours; benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• BLS – American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient prior to admission via a phone interview or in person.
• Collect medical history from previous medical records.
• Coordinate the patient’s needs with the anesthesia department.
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per the plan of care and hospital policies.
• Uphold Mercy Service Standards and mission.
