Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN for the Ambulatory Surgery Unit, Pre-Procedure Phase II. The position supports pre-admission assessment, history collection, anesthesia coordination, and direct patient care for all age groups. Requires Missouri RN license and at least 2 years of RN experience with BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient prior to admission via interview or in person.
• Collect medical history from records.
• Coordinate with anesthesia to meet patient needs.
• Provide direct patient care across all age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values and standards.
